The Promises of Jesus Associated with the Devotion

The Diary of St. Faustina holds a record of conversations the Saint had with Jesus during which Our Savior made promises to those devoted to His Divine Mercy.

Below are some of the most inspiring of these conversations.

My love and mercy knows no bounds.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 718

When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1074

Souls who spread the honor of My mercy…at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1075

Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1146

... before I come as a just Judge, I first open wide the door of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice...
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1146

My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1485

To priests who proclaim and extol My mercy, I will give wondrous power; I will anoint their words and touch the hearts of those to whom they will speak.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1521

All those souls who will glorify My mercy and spread its worship, encouraging other to trust in My mercy, will not experience terror at the hour of death. My mercy will shield them in that final battle…
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1540
